The Gambling Diva's Tips for Success: Roulette

To all of those people out there who say that the best strategy in roulette is to watch the wheel and look for patterns, get your head out of the ground!  Even if Red-18 is spun 12 times in a row the next spin is no more likely to land on Red-18 than it would be in any other situation.  The roulette wheel is entirely random-- you couldn't guess where it would land next with any sort of authority, unless maybe you are a psychic or a magician.

So, you may be asking, if the spin of the Roulette wheel is entirely random then how can I build my roulette strategy?  Just learn a little something from the following tips from the Gambling Diva :-)

1. Always play on a European roulette wheel over an American roulette wheel when you have the option.  Why is this?  Well, an American roulette wheel has an extra slot (00) meaning that that's one more slot for the ball to land in besides the slot you bet on.  Stick to a European wheel to better your winning odds in Roulette.

2. When playing Roulette for real money it is always a good idea to come into the game with a set amount of money that you are willing to bet.  This amount should never be more than you want to lose.  If you come into the game feeling OK with the idea of paying up to $300 to have fun playing roulette online then stop playing the moment you have lost $300.  This helps take away some of the sting of a loss.  Never continue playing in hopes of winning back what you've lost-- this may result in you falling even deeper into a hole.

3.  By the same token, if you are winning big then you should also stop while you're ahead.  Too many gamblers know the feeling of winning big only to lose it all on the next spin.  Don't get cocky-- quick while you are ahead and hold on to your winnings!

4.  If you aren't having fun then stop playing.  Gambling is about having fun and a positive attitude is what brings in the wins!
