The Gambling Diva's Tips for Success: Roulette

To all of those people out there who say that the best strategy in roulette is to watch the wheel and look for patterns, get your head out of the ground!  Even if Red-18 is spun 12 times in a row the next spin is no more likely to land on Red-18 than it would be in any other situation.  The roulette wheel is entirely random-- you couldn't guess where it would land next with any sort of authority, unless maybe you are a psychic or a magician.

So, you may be asking, if the spin of the Roulette wheel is entirely random then how can I build my roulette strategy?  Just learn a little something from the following tips from the Gambling Diva :-)

1. Always play on a European roulette wheel over an American roulette wheel when you have the option.  Why is this?  Well, an American roulette wheel has an extra slot (00) meaning that that's one more slot for the ball to land in besides the slot you bet on.  Stick to a European wheel to better your winning odds in Roulette.

2. When playing Roulette for real money it is always a good idea to come into the game with a set amount of money that you are willing to bet.  This amount should never be more than you want to lose.  If you come into the game feeling OK with the idea of paying up to $300 to have fun playing roulette online then stop playing the moment you have lost $300.  This helps take away some of the sting of a loss.  Never continue playing in hopes of winning back what you've lost-- this may result in you falling even deeper into a hole.

3.  By the same token, if you are winning big then you should also stop while you're ahead.  Too many gamblers know the feeling of winning big only to lose it all on the next spin.  Don't get cocky-- quick while you are ahead and hold on to your winnings!

4.  If you aren't having fun then stop playing.  Gambling is about having fun and a positive attitude is what brings in the wins!

...And the Casino of the Week is... Casino Tropez!

I've decided that, as part of this blog, I will choose a casino each week to review as the casino of the week. This week it's Casino Tropez.

Casino Tropez was introduced in 2002 so it is a seasoned casino with experience and standards. The site utilizes award winning Playtech software and has state-of-the-art graphics in real-time animation. With over 100 amazing games, Tropez has something for everyone. Their games include all the classics—Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Video Poker, Slots, Asian games and more.

Whether you are new to casino gaming or a professional gambler, Tropez has something for you. You can customize the playing environment to make yourself feel comfortable—change the card size and sound effects and even choose the speed of the dealer—wish I could do this in live casinos as well!

Now on to what you gambling enthusiasts really care about—the bonuses! Casino Tropez offers an unprecedented $3000 Welcome Bonus! When you open a real money account with a deposit of $20 or more the casino will give you a 100% bonus for up to $100. Make a $100 deposit and you’ll get $100 free. You can receive this bonus weekly for six months for a total of up to $3000 in bonuses. Casino Tropez also offers a complimentary points program that enables you to earn extra money as you play. These “comp points" can be converted into real cash and added to your account balance at any time.

Casino Tropez accepts deposits via Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electon/Delta, ePassporte, NETeller, InstaCash, Citadel Commerce, eChecks (powered by Citadel,) myCitadel, FirePay, Click2Pay, MoneyBookers, EcoCard, UseMyBank, PaySafeCard, Bank Draft, Wire Transfer, Instant Wire Transfer, uKash, WebMoney.

Introducing The Gambling Diva

Hello, I'm Hillary but you can call me The Gambling Diva :-)

I am a London Girl with a passion for gambling. I love playing all sorts of casino games-- some of my favorites are Blackjack, Texas Hold'em poker and Roulette and I hope I'm not jinxing myself when I say that I have been lucky enough to win quite a fair share of the time.

But I guess I can't chalk it all up to luck- - I do have a lot of research and practice under my belt. I've been playing blackjack and poker from the first time I held a deck and started playing in casinos online from the moment I learned of their existence.

I decided to start this blog to impart a little bit of gambling knowledge and experience on to the other casino and gambling fanatics out there. Hope everyone can take a little something from me!
